Oh! Where to begin?

Yes,it's been a while since I wrote anything here. Of course, I've been busy just trying to make enough money to pay the taxes on our house, fill my truck up with gas ("Fill" is just a figure of speech. I usually only pump 20 dollars for my 6 to 7 gallons of "run around" fuel), and cobbling a couple of bucks here and there to keep me in diet coke and jalapeno potato chips. The image above isn't mine, but it's amazing that I was in the process of constructing the exact same image here! So I'm NOT the only one who sees the correlation.

So what can we talk about? Oh, let's see, how about the complete inappropriateness of Elena Kagan and her Supreme Court Confirmation (a shoe-in to be sure). I have more judicial experience than she does (I defended myself against a muffler ticket in county court and won. I'm a better lawyer than she'll ever be!).

No? Ok, how about the fact that since BP finally capped that damn well, the administration is champing at the bit to have them uncork it so they can more accurately measure the flow? (This is simply a ploy to extend a crisis and also to determine how much MORE money they are going to hold BP up for). Well, really, that's old news.

Ok, Then we can talk about the recent NAACP declaration that a Hallmark Greeting card was racist because they used the words "Black Hole" in the audio portion of the card. This, in complete disregard for the fact that 1) the card dealt with the Universe and Science, 2)The Term "Black Hole" is racially neutral unless you're a rabid racist yourself. 3)If you claim that the term Black Hole is racist in the context of science, you're proving that you are just plain stupid. They went on to re-affirm the fact that they are a group of idiots and racists by demanding that the Tea Party be deemed a "Racist Organization". Here's a hint for you NAACP'ers. Have a peek in the mirror why don't you? You've become a joke in the saddest way possible. taking those who actually worked and risked their lives to get equality and minimizing their memory by buffoonish and insipid racist blather.

Then we have the situation of the Agriculture Department lady who was ordered by the White House to resign when a video tape of her CLEARLY admitting to racist behavior surfaced. Despite the fact that once the full story came out (in that she claimed to have had an epiphany and was no longer racist in her views) the White House jumped the gun and threw another black person under the bus for their own political benefit.
Now one could feel sorry for Ms. Sherrod's ouster, but personally, to me, she has proven that she hasn't had an epiphany of any sort and is still the racist hate monger that she always was. I point to her condemnation of Glen Beck as one of the reasons for her dismissal, despite the fact that Glen Beck actually STOOD UP FOR HER. She was also fired BEFORE Beck ever even mentioned her. Now, of course, the White House is claiming that Ag.Secy Vilsack "Jumped the gun" on firing Ms. Sherrod. Oh will the lies ever stop? (Answer: No, they won't). Shirley Sherrod is a race baiter of the worst kind (Are there any race baiters of the best kind?). An educated black woman who is so full of hatred for white people that she cannot see truth when it stands before her. Everything in Ms. Sherrod's experience is viewed through the lens of race. What a sad and pointless existence.

We could move on to other items like how the Congress is at 11% approval and they STILL have jobs. If your approval rate at your job was 11%, would you still have a job? Of course your approval rate at your job could NEVER sink to 11% because you'd be let go at about 50%. And you wouldn't get a lifetime pension after being on the job for only 1 year either. If we rewarded Congress based on their performance and what they did to improve the lot of their constituents, perhaps we'd see a scene like this;

Oh, could we only dream!

 The facts are that a majority of those who hold power in the Congress and the Senate have long ago forgotten WHY they are there. Their actions border on treason if not cross right over that perilous line. Passing multi-thousand page bills into law that NO ONE HAS READ, NO ONE UNDERSTANDS, and NO ONE KNOWS THE CONSEQUENCES THEREOF, is a crime of the highest order. They run off to their recesses and mock their constituents, act as though they are the High Sherriff's and we are the rabble. It's enough to make you sick, and it often does.

We have a guy who is pretending to be the President who is hell bent on 'reshaping' America into some fourth rate gulag of a country where the only people with any power or control are those in the Government. YOU and your family will be slaves to the state and your lives, your children's lives, your housing, your job, will ALL be subject to the Government's approval. Don't eat that damn Cheeseburger! PUT DOWN THAT ICE CREAM (of course, the illegal aliens will be able to eat all the ice cream they want, it's where Obama thinks you find most of them).

There is so much more that needs to be addressed that I could continue on for thousands of pages. Much like the bills that no one in Washington reads. But with each passing day, more and more people are having the shades lifted from their eyes and hopefully, just hopefully, come this election day a scant 100 Plus days from now, those scoundrels and crooks will get a message loud and clear.
