Just to be perfectly clear as to what we are employing to "watch over us" (more like WATCH US) is this dandy little audio clip of Steven Bierfeldt who was detained at the St. Louis Airport while returning from a Ron Paul fundraiser.
It's astounding how a simple question like "Am I legally required to answer that question" throws the TSA and Local Police into a complete tailspin. Traveling with cash? Hey, YOU LOOK SUSPICIOUS TO US!
Bierfeldt who works for Ron Paul had the presence of mind to tape record the entire interrogation. It's a bit long, but I will bet that you listen to the whole thing;
